The RZ/A3M allows you to achieve the full potential of a real-time operating system (RTOS) while leveraging the performance boost provided by the 64-bit Arm® Cortex®-A55 CPU core with a maximum operating frequency of 1 GHz. It features MIPI DSI output for display control, 2 Gbit NAND Flash memory, and built-in 128MB DDR3L-SDRAM, all conveniently packaged in a compact format.

Besides the processor, the Feather SoM contains the classic Feather features: digital GPIOs, I2C and SPI communication pins, UART pins, a LiPo battery power plug, and the USB programming port. The SoM also features a USB Type-C for powering the board and for USB debug upload.

Feather is a flexible and powerful family of microcontroller main-boards (Feathers) and daughter-boards (Wings) with a wide range of capabilities. They can be plugged into a breadboard for quick prototyping, have built-in battery connectors for your on-the-go projects, and most have built-in lipoly chargers.

Our Feather SoM features a 4-lane MIPI DSI connector, supporting up to WXGA resolution (1280 x 800) at 60 fps with RGB888 color depth. It offers a maximum bandwidth of 1.5 Gbps per lane and supports the RGB666 output format, making it suitable for HMI solutions.
